1. Doyle Brunson Wins WSOP Back-To-Back With 10-2

Technically, this is two poker hands but we’ll leave it as one for this article. Know forever known as Doyle Brunson’s hand, ten-deuce is an absolute trash hand, but Doyle managed to win two World Series Main Events with this hand. Talk about putting your opponent on tilt.

2. Hachem’s 3-7 at the 2005 WSOP Main Event

In the final hand against Steve Dannenman, Hachem flopped a straight when 4-5-6 came on the board. Dannenman had A-3. Hachem slowplayed it, checking and then check-raising Dannenman a little when Dannenman bet. An ace came on the turn and all the money went into the pot. The only hope Dannenman had was a tie if a 7 came on the river, which it didn’t.

3. Aces and Eights- Dead Man’s Hand

Ok, not the most positive thing to think about, but Wild Bill Hickock, a famous Western sheriff, held this hand when he was playing five card draw. A man shot Hickock in the back, killing him. This is why it is now forever known as Dead Man’s Hand.

Slow rolling is very annoying…but it’s not illegal. The only thing you need to make sure is that you are not so convincing that the dealer mucks your cards. Then you’ll lose the hand because of your slowroll.

Otherwise, utilizing a slowroll every now and then is a good way to put your opponent on tilt…if you can manage to lower your self-respect enough to slowroll.
